Deltopectoral Triangle (Clavipectoral)

There is a connective tissue space between the clavicular parts of the pectoralis major and the deltoid. The cephalic vein passes through this tissue space and is narrow in muscular individuals. When the pectoralis major is weakly developed a triangular area justifies the name Deltopectoral Triangle (Clavipectoral). The triangular area forms the infraclavicular (Mohrenheim's) fossa.
