Transverse Cervical Artery
Inferior Thyroid Artery
The Thyrocervical Trunk arises from the first part of the subclavian artery. It has the following branches: Suprascapular, Inferior Thyroid, and Transverse Cervical. These branches cross the anterior aspect of the anterior scalene. The suprascapular artery courses beneath the length of the clavicle to the suprascapular notch. The ascending cervical branch typically arises from the loop of the inferior thyroid artery.
