Ovarian Artery

The Ovarian artery arises from the anterior aspect of the abdominal aorta inferior to the renal arteries. It passes deep to the peritoneum of the infracolic compartment and the colic vessels, crosses the ureter obliquely, on the psoas major muscle. It crosses the pelvic brim and enters the suspensory ligament of the ovary at the lateral extremity of the broad ligament.
