The Lesser Omentum is the double layer of peritoneum between the stomach and the liver. It encloses the common bile duct, proper hepatic artery, and the portal vein. The local parts of the lesser omentum can be designated as the Hepatogastric ligament and the Hepatoduodenal ligament, and an inconstant Hepatocolic ligament.
