Suspensory Ligament (Muscle) of Treitz

Terminally, the fourth part of the duodenum turns abruptly forward to become continuous with the jejunem at the Duodenojejunal Flexure. The duodenojejunal flexure is fixed to the left psoas fascia by fibrous tissue and supported by the Suspensory Ligament (Muscle) of the Duodenum (Ligament (Muscle) of Treitz).
